The Custom Shop section was created for guitarists looking for their own original sound. If you are looking for pickups for your own preferences, you are in the right place. We will guide you through the entire process and help you choose the right tone for you.

Jakubiszyn Pickups consists of a team of enthusiasts engaged in craftsmanship whose beginnings date back to 1964. We are a continuation of the work of the legendary master luthier Jerzy Jakubiszyn from Wrocław. We approach our passion for creation with extraordinary care, cultivating generational tradition.

All pickups are handcrafted from high-quality components from reputable suppliers. 
The pickups we make can be divided into modern and vintage. 
Vintage models are made from parts that with great accuracy preserve all historical details characteristic 
of a given period. 
A perfect example is our flagship Humbucker Vintage P.A.F. Clone which is an exact replica of pickups 
from the late 50s. 
The material from which the bobbins of this pickup are made is cellulose acetate butyrate, 
the structure of this material is characterized by a lack of a smooth finish and a matte appearance, 
interestingly, its smell is also characteristic of butyrate.

The coils were wound non-standardly, with plain-enamel magnet wire, also known as oil-resin enamel. 
The baseplate is made of a nickel silver alloy, which makes it a more tonally transparent material. 
The baseplate legs are longer than in modern humbuckers. 
The pole pieces are made of a low-carbon steel alloy. High-quality shielding wire. 
Interesting fact: there is a maple spacer inside the pickup, and it is worth emphasizing that the spacer 
has no effect on the tone of the pickup and only has a stabilizing function. 
The magnet wire we use comes from the world leader in the production of magnet wire, Elektrisola. 
This wire is the most frequently chosen material for the production of pickups by renowned companies 
around the world. We wind the coils of vintage pickups with Plain-Enamel and Heavy Formvar coated wire, 
this wire was widely used in the 50s and 60s. Today, it is used in reproductions and custom guitar pickups. 
The magnets we use for our pickups are Alnico alloy in vintage and modern versions.
