The P.A.F. Blues & Jazz Humbucker Set is handcrafted from high-quality components sourced from renowned suppliers including the US and the UK. The pickups are made from exactly the same components as our flagship Humbucker Vintage P.A.F. Clone and Humbucker Signature Piotr Łukaszewski. The use of Alnico III magnets and custom-wound coils with Plain-Enamel magnetic wire provides a warm and expressive tone with almost acoustic properties. The pickups will be perfect for such music types as blues, jazz, classic rock.

The material from which the bobbins are made is cellulose acetate butyrate, the structure of this material is characterized by a lack of a smooth finish and a matte appearance, interestingly, its smell is also characteristic of butyrate. The coils were wound with plain-enamel magnetic wire, also known as oil-resin enamel, commonly used in the 50s and 60s. The base is made of a nickel silver alloy, which is a more tonally transparent material. The baseplate legs are longer than in modern humbuckers.
