The bridge pickup equipped with Alnico V magnets and plain-enamel wire offers a stronger and thicker tone while maintaining mid and high frequencies and excellent articulation response.
The mid-position pickup equipped with Alnico II magnet and heavy formvar wire is characterized by a warmer tone and a clear signal with longer sustain.
The neck pickup equipped with Alnico III magnet and heavy formvar wire is characterized by an exceptionally clean signal. It provides a warm and expressive tone with almost acoustic properties.
The Alnico III magnet is characterized by the lowest magnetic attraction force, making it an excellent choice for pickups in the neck position where the greatest amplitude of string vibration occurs.
